As part of an on-going commitment to a healthier, more sustainable environment, Lampton Leisure, in partnership with Hounslow Council, is set to undergo a green transformation, that will see the future proofing of its services and will support the Council’s mission to deliver greater energy efficiency across the borough.
Thanks to the Public Sector Decarbonisation Scheme (PSDS), run by the Department for Business and Industrial Strategy, all the Borough’s leisure centres will be undergoing phased work between now and end of March 2022.
The building works will include: the installation of Photo voltaic panels that turn daylight into energy, traditional light bulbs replaced with LED lighting and traditional gas-fired boilers will be replaced with modern Air Source Heat Pumps – supplying super-efficient, low-cost energy-saving heating and hot water.
Club Sessions
Due to the works going on, we have reached out to Lampton to ensure we can operate our sessions elsewhere. Unfortunately they have only been able to accommodate a few of our impacted sessions.
We will be sending your regular updates to ensure, if we gain pool time for your session, you are made aware in time. At the moment, please take a note of the below closure dates;
• Isleworth Leisure Centre 03/03/2022 – 13/03/2022
• New Chiswick Pool 14/03/2022 – 20/03/2022
• Brentford Fountain Leisure Centre 21/03/2022 – 27/03/2022
Isleworth sessions on 3rd & 10th March are cancelled.
